Smart door lock installation instructions
1. Prepare the installation tools for the door lock: hammer, flat chisel, ruler, Phillips screwdriver, 5mm hexagonal screw wrench (optional), 2mm hexagonal screw wrench (optional), electric drill, drill bit.
2. Differentiate the direction of the door lock.
3. Excavate the keyhole, refer to the opening template 4, and install the smart door lock.
Installing the lock cylinder
1. Remove the side trim strip first.
2. Fix the lock cylinder to the door with two cross countersunk head screws, and pay attention to the line when installing.
3. Install the side trim strips.
Front and rear panels
1. Install the lock on the front panel first, and try to see if the mechanical key is smooth (be sure to remove the mechanical key after the test and then follow the installation steps).
2. Install a generous shaft inside and outside the door.
3. Connect the 8PIN data cable of the front panel and lock cylinder.
4. Connect the battery cable.
5. Install the front and rear panels and fix them with the hexagon socket countersunk screws (panel). Pay attention to the data line and do not press the line.
6. After installing the battery, debug the door lock to ensure that the oblique tongue and the square tongue pop out freely; the mechanical key can open the door normally; the handle rotates smoothly.
