Scientists have found a way to convert plastic waste into hydrogen fuel, which could one day power cars and serve as a lower-cost recycling method. Dr Moritz Kuehnel of the University ’s Department of Chemistry said: “Every year a large amount of plastic waste is generated (up to billions of tons) of which only a small part is recycled.
