In May of this year, a new generation of improved screw cap WAK for the wine industry will be released in London. This screw cap is tailor-made for mid- to high-priced wines.
The manufacturer, Guala Closures Group, said that this WAK cap combines traditional appearance technology with a screw cap feature for a standard 750-ml wine bottle.
The WAK cap does not see the actual material from the outside and is covered by a long layer of aluminum. Francco Cocchiara, the company's global sales assistant, said: "WAK packaging has the appearance of a traditional wine stopper and has the function of a screw cap. We believe this new packaging will be welcomed by consumers." WAK Bottle caps will be officially launched at the London International Wine Fair next month.
