Symptoms: No water, no water or intermittent water.
Causes: 1 motor reversal; 2 motor does not start; 3 dynamic water level is lower than the suction inlet; 4 pipeline or connection site serious leakage; 5 pump seal ring or impeller is seriously worn out; 6 motor and pump coupling sleeve shake . Remedy: 1 exchange the location of the contacts; 2 remove the line failure, check the voltage; 3 increase the riser or replace the water pump; 4 overhaul the pump to eliminate the fault; 5 replace the seal ring or impeller; 6 fixed joints.
Symptom: Reduced traffic.
Causes: 1 The seal ring is worn out; 2 The filter is blocked; 3 Water leaks between the riser or the housing. Remedy: 1 remove the pump to replace the seal ring; 2 remove the pump to repair the water filter; 3 remove the pump to repair and eliminate the fault.
Fault phenomenon: The unit vibrates violently.
Causes: 1 The shaft of the pump is bent; 2 The bearings of the pump and the motor wear excessively. Remedy: 1 Dismantle the pump to correct the shaft or replace it; 2 remove the pump or motor, repair the bearings.
Well Submersible Pump Common Faults and Troubleshooting Methods
Fault phenomenon: The ammeter pointer swings large.
The reasons are as follows: 1 The dynamic level drops to the pump inlet; 2 The flow rate is too large, causing the pump rotor to string. Remedy: 1 increase the water pipe or replace the water pump; 2 close the valve to reduce the amount of water.
Symptom: The insulation resistance drops below 0.5MΩ.
The reasons are as follows: 1 The quality of the cable connector is not high; 2 The motor insulation is damaged; 3 The cable is damaged. Remedy: 1 reconnect the cable connector; 2 repair the motor windings; 3 repair or replace the cable.
Symptoms: The motor does not turn on when starting and there is a buzzing sound.
Causes: 1 Single-phase operation of the motor; 2 bearing engagement axis. Remedy: 1 Check the power cable, find out the phase; 2 repair or replace the bearing.
