Application of Wave Shear Technology in Bucket Making Process

In the barrel making process, the method for producing the bottom lid of the barrel is to first uncoil the coiling material→levelize→cut (tangentially and diagonally) to cut the coil board into a flat sheet, and then press the flat sheet into a bottom lid. Because the shearing is done with a general straight blade shear, it cannot meet the requirement of misalignment, resulting in a large material consumption for a single product. The new technology that cuts the coil plate into a wave plate solves the technical problem of misalignment. The use of this technology can save about 7-13% of the material used. Taking a 200-liter steel drum as an example: Similarly, with a 1250mm coil board, the wave shear ratio cuts 922 grams of material from each barrel and saves 1046.3 grams of material per barrel with a 1230mm coil. This shows that the use of wave cutting board technology can bring great economic benefits to the barrel manufacturer.

In this technology, there are two types of shear waveforms: circular arc waveform and polyline waveform. Manufacturers can choose according to their needs. The size of the waveform can be designed according to the specific blanking size of the manufacturer to meet the needs of steel drums of different specifications, so as to achieve maximum savings of materials.
