The Measures clarified the supervision scope and stipulated that coal, iron, gold, silver, natural brines, barite, fluorite, ceramic sandstone, quartzite, dolomite, feldspar, bentonite, and coal shall be used for open or underground mining within the jurisdiction. The construction of stone, construction sand and other important mineral resources and mines will be supervised, covering all key minerals in Weifang City.

The "Measures" stipulates that the municipal, county (city, district) land and resources department shall be responsible for the guidance, supervision and inspection of the mine supervision activities in the administrative area. The supervision unit must have the geological exploration qualification certificate, surveying and mapping qualification certificate issued by the competent department of the industry, and the qualification for the development and utilization of mineral resources. The number of professional and technical personnel shall be no less than 20, and it shall have a technical title of intermediate or higher level, among which the external personnel The number is not more than 10%, and there are not less than 10 major professional technicians such as geology, surveying, mining, etc.; with the necessary instruments and equipment for field measurement, positioning, indoor data processing, and mapping.

In terms of supervision contents and procedures, the supervision unit shall, in accordance with the supervision objectives, change the scope of the mining area and the reserves of mineral resources occupied, the development system, the transportation system, the layout of the working face, the mining method, the mining sequence, the tailings pond, and the waste dump. Installation, discharge method, stacking height, slope slope, etc. are supervised in connection with the development, utilization, and protection of mineral resources. A written supervision report is issued, supervision and inspection are performed, and a supervision report and related supervision materials are regularly submitted to the entrusting party.
