In order to protect the quality of building construction materials, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and promote the healthy development of the building waterproofing membrane industry, the AQSIQ organized a national supervision and random inspection of the quality of construction waterproof coiled products. A total sampling of Beijing, Hebei, and Tianjin was conducted. , Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Henan, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and other 84 products produced by 81 companies in 17 provinces and municipalities (not involving export products), products The sampling rate of physical quality is 94.6%.

The spot check is based on the requirements of the mandatory national standard GB18242-2000 "elastomer modified bitumen membrane", GB18173.1-2006 "macromolecule waterproof material part 1 sheet", the appearance size of the building waterproof membrane , soluble content, water impermeability, heat resistance, tensile strength, elongation at maximum tension, low temperature flexibility (low temperature bending temperature), tear strength, tensile strength at break, elongation at break, amount of heat expansion and contraction Fifteen projects such as hot air aging, alkali resistance, ozone aging, and composite strength were examined.

Spot check results indicate that, first, continuous national supervision and spot checks have promoted the improvement of the enterprise's quality consciousness, strengthened the quality management, the soluble content, the maximum tensile elongation (longitudinal), the low temperature bending temperature, and the tensile elongation at the time of the spot check. Strength and other items of product quality have greatly improved; low temperature bending temperature, breaking tensile strength of a single item compliance rate of 100%; Second, there are 4 kinds of national inspection-free products, the inspection of the project all meet the requirements of national standards.

The main quality issues found in spot checks:

1, individual products soluble content is unqualified. Soluble content is an important index to distinguish the thickness of waterproofing membranes. Products with insufficient soluble content, thickness and durability are not easy to be guaranteed. In the process of use, the aging resistance is poor. In the spot check, the soluble content of individual products was insufficient, which reduced the waterproof function of the product.

2. When the maximum tensile force of individual products fails, the elongation rate is unqualified. Elongation at the maximum tensile force is the ratio of the increase of the elongation of the waterproof material to its original length after being stretched by the maximum tensile force. Expressed as a percentage, it is an important indicator of the material's resistance to deformation. The mandatory national standard GB18242-2000 “Elastomer Modified Bitumen Waterproof Coiled Material” stipulates that the maximum tensile force elongation of polyester tire type I products must be ≥30%. In the spot check, the elongation rate of the individual products at the time of maximum tensile force fails to meet the requirement of the standard. In the course of use of such products, once the base layer is deformed, the material will be torn or cracked, and leakage will occur easily.

3, the individual product heat expansion amount failed. The amount of heat expansion and contraction is an important index of waterproofing membrane products. In the random inspection, there are individual products whose heat expansion and contraction amount is unqualified. When they are used, they encounter high temperatures and the products are easily deformed, contracted or swelled, and they are easily torn on the substrate. Leakage occurs.

Regarding the main quality problems found during spot checks, the AQSIQ has instructed all local quality and technical supervision departments to strictly comply with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations such as the product quality law, and dealt with enterprises that failed product quality inspections according to law and rectify them within a time limit. At the same time, it will intensify publicity efforts and guide consumption in quality-checked companies. Correct selection of building waterproofing membranes

Construction waterproofing membranes are mainly used in building walls, roofs, tunnels, highways, landfills, etc., and can be used as a kind of flexible building materials that can withstand rolling rain and groundwater leakage and can be rolled into coils. There is no leakage connection between the foundation and the building, which is the first barrier for waterproofing the entire project and plays a vital role in the entire project. The main products are modified asphalt waterproof membrane and high polymer waterproof membrane.

Modified bitumen membranes have elastomeric (SBS) modified bitumen membranes, plastic (APP) modified bitumen membranes, and asphalt composite tires.

Asphalt waterproofing membrane (SBS) modified bitumen membrane and modified bitumen membrane (APP) modified bitumen membrane is based on polyester tire or glass fiber tires. Asphalt composite tires are based on asphalt. The composite material is composed of two materials. Most of the composite tires are compounded by chemical fiber rags and high-alkali glass fiber mesh cloths. They are not easy to dip coating, mold, water resistance, and durability. Therefore, they have a short service life. Used for occasions where temporary buildings or fortification levels are not required. The standard clearly stipulates that in addition to SBS coiled materials, any other bituminous waterproofing membrane made of modified bitumen, tire base, and top surface material may not be labeled as "SBS".

First, the packaging logo. The above three types of materials alone do not differ much from the outside, so we must first look at whether the packaging and labeling are standardized. The sign must indicate: the manufacturer's name, trademark, product marking, production date or batch number, production license number, storage and transportation precautions, are indispensable. Each roll should be marked and must be marked in the order specified by the national standard. At the same time, it should be noted that the storage period of coils generally does not exceed one year.

Second, look at the base. The method of tearing the edge of the web by hand can be used to determine whether the tire base is consistent with the mark, whether it is completely saturated, and meets the requirements of the standard. The base cannot have unsaturated white marks or light spots. Polyester tires are extremely difficult to tear and break by hand, and the asphalt and the tire base have good affinity, while asphalt composite tire membranes are often easy to tear and can be observed by tearing.

Third, determine by physical performance testing. Trim 0.8m coils for physical and mechanical testing according to standards, and meet the standard requirements for qualified products.

Polymer waterproof membranes are usually divided into:

JL1 type: EPDM rubber waterproof sheet is a homogeneous waterproof sheet made of EPDM rubber. It is an internationally recognized high-grade waterproof material characterized by high elasticity and extensibility. Good, weather-resistant performance is the preferred material for key projects.

JL2 type: Rubber (rubber and plastic) blended waterproof sheet is a waterproof sheet made of rubber and plastic or rubber and rubber. It is the waterproof material that is inferior to EPDM waterproof sheet. Its characteristics Good flexibility, excellent adhesion, and weather resistance are only inferior to EPDM sheets.

JS2 type: homogeneous resin waterproof sheet main material is EVA, which is characterized by strong water resistance, ozone resistance, suitable for construction under harsh environments, and its good welding performance has become the preferred material in subway and other underground projects.

JF2 type: non-vulcanized rubber-plastic blended waterproof sheet, the main material is rubber and plastic, rubber and rubber are blended. After the rolling, it only needs to be parked at normal temperature, and the production efficiency is high. Relatively poor performance.

FS2 type: polyethylene polypropylene membrane has strong anti-permeability, high tensile strength, good low temperature flexibility, small linear expansion coefficient, easy bonding, large friction coefficient, good stability, non-toxicity, strong deformation adaptability, and adaptability to temperature Wide range of performance, long service life, corrosion resistance, mildew resistance, puncture resistance and other good comprehensive technical performance.
