There are 27 stone standards currently under construction and revision, and the next step will be 20 National standard for artificial stone terms and test methods, revised 7 national standards for stone test methods.
In December 2008, approved by the National Standardization Management Committee, the National Stone Standardization Technical Committee and three sub-technical committees (products and auxiliary materials, special machinery, management specifications and application technology and specification sub-technical committees) were successively established. Standardization work provides conditions.
According to Zhou Junxing of the National Stone Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, there is no uniform international standard for the stone industry. The main standard systems applicable in the industry are the American ASTM stone standard and the European EN stone standard. China's stone foundation, products and test method standards mainly use the American ASTM stone standard.
