Signing ceremony for RDF-5 power generation process renovation project for waste-derived fuels held in Beijing

On January 16, the signing ceremony for the RDF-5 power generation process renovation project for waste-derived fuel organized by the China Energy Conservation Association was held in Beijing.

It is reported that Wang Qinping, executive vice chairman of the China Energy Conservation Association, Fang Qing, vice chairman and secretary general of the China Energy Conservation Association and vice president of the China Academy of Metrology Sciences attended the meeting. At the meeting, Shenzhen Hengxin Huatian Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hengxin Huatian Company) signed cooperation agreements with Zhejiang Tonglu Shengyun Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Taicang Xiexin Waste Incineration Power Generation Co., Ltd. respectively.

In 2011, China’s total municipal solid waste production has exceeded 290 million tons and is increasing at an annual rate of about 8% to 15%. China's domestic waste has the characteristics of poor quality, miscellaneous components, low calorific value, and high water content. Therefore, the waste incineration industry needs no technology upgrade.

According to reports, the RDF-5 power generation process renovation project for waste-derived fuels is the practical application of the technology of green energy for waste-derived fuels in the Hengxin Huatian Company. The green energy-based industrial technology for waste-derived fuels consists of six systems: a garbage sorting system, an RDF-5 manufacturing system, a thermal power generation system, an exhaust gas purification system, a leachate heat treatment system, and a fly ash treatment system. Combustibles made of RDF-5 and used as a power fuel to generate electricity, comprehensive control of the generation of *** substances in combustion, and comprehensive integration of leachate and ash treatment. This technology can not only increase the amount of electricity generated by the unit of rubbish, but also reduce the emission concentration of the *** substances produced by combustion to 10% of the EU standard. The technology of green energy for waste-derived fuels is in line with the national requirements for harmlessness, reduction, and recycling in the “12th Five-Year Plan” for energy conservation and emission reduction. It is a more efficient and cleaner waste treatment technology that can be used in cities. Powerfully promote the development of the national energy-saving emission reduction business.
