Screw Torque Testing Machine Operating Instructions

The following is a test description of the torque test and the lock torque test of the screw torque tester.

Torque test

The torsion force of a product is to demonstrate its ability to resist the twisted two halves. Various standards have the minimum requirements for the self-tapping screw torsion force. This test is to divide the nail into the torsion test tool and split the middle of the tapping. The chuck is the same, and then the torque is applied with a torque wrench until the screw is twisted. If the torque does not exceed the specified minimum requirements, the product is unqualified. The unqualified display screw is too soft or the screw has a too small root diameter.

Lock test

This test is to lock the screw to a "test board" which has the specified hardness, thickness and aperture. If the screw is locked over the test board, but the screw is deformed, the product is unqualified. If the screw is not cured, the surface hardening of the screw is too light or too soft.

Locking torque test

This test is only required for screw-rolled screws. When performing the lock test, observe the maximum lock torque of the lock to the test board. If the pneumatic force exceeds the specified standard value (the standard value depends on the size of the screw and the surface treatment) This product is unqualified. If the surface of the screw is not qualified, the surface of the screw does not have sufficient lubricity, or the improper surface of the thread needs more torque.

Test instruction

Lock the base of the screw strength torque tester to the table top (with screw holes at the four corners).

Put the torque tool (according to the test screw pitch) into the vise, then gently put all the tested screws into 2-3 teeth, then align the center line on the base of the torsion table with the center on the tooling 2. , use the clamping handle to rotate and fix the tool (if the lock is not tight, the test may not be broken, only slipping).

Insert the screwdriver bit into the adapter sleeve at the lower end of the height adjustment plate, select the screwdriver head that matches the test screw head, and insert the screwdriver head adapter.

Use the height adjustment dial to adjust the height to the lowest point (load the driver pair into the screw head).

Put the torque wrench on the top of the height adjustment plate and rotate it evenly until the screw breaks; or until the torque is designed to withstand the torque of the screw, if the screw is not broken, the screw is OK.

The reading (torque wrench PEAK needle position is the test value).

After recording, you can test again, the steps are as above.

Black Wire

Black Wire

Black annealed wire, which is made of low carbon steel or iron, is often applied for weaving, baling in home use and construction. For example, baling hay in agriculture area.

Black annealed wire is mainly processed into coil wire, spool wire or big package wire. Or further straightened and cut into cut wire and U type wire. Compared with black Iron Wire, black annealed wire is more softer and has higher flexibility.
