At the annual meeting of the German VDMA Association of Plastics and Rubber Machinery Manufacturers in Frankfurt, Ulrich Reifenhäuser, president of the association, predicted that the plastics machinery industry will grow at a rate of about 2% in 2016 and 2017. Based on this, annual sales are about 7.2 billion. 7.3 billion euros. This figure is significantly lower than the 5% increase in the 2015 forecast for the association in October 2015. The final actual increase in 2015 was 4.7%, setting a new high of 7.2 billion euros, while the 2014 performance was a negative growth of 1.1%.
VDMA's research report published in the fall of 2015 predicted that the global plastics and rubber machinery industry will grow at an annual rate of 3.2% in 2016 and 2017, but it is also forecast that the overall growth of the industry in Germany will be zero in 2016.
The forecast growth in June 2016 is based on stable demand in Western Europe and the United States, but actual sales in Russia have reached relatively low levels. But these predictions will also be offset by the slowdown in development and weak growth in developing countries. Internal problems have arisen in many developing countries, and new opportunities have emerged in India. As the international community ends its sanctions against Iran, there will also be opportunities in this country. The forecast also considers a 4% increase in overall orders from January to April this year compared to the same period in 2015. Orders in Germany increased by 7%, orders in the export market increased by 4%, and orders in the Eurozone increased by as much as 39%.
The core machinery increased by 1.6% (market value of 4.68 billion euros), imports remained unchanged, valued at 1.08 billion euros, orders mainly from Austrian and Swiss producers. These two countries are currently experiencing a slight decline after benefiting from the German domestic economic growth in 2014.
China continues to lead the way in the production of plastic machinery, accounting for 32.5% of the global GDP of 33.9 billion euros (down from 33.4% in the previous year), while Germany accounted for 20.7% (up from 20.5% in the previous year). ). The output value of these two countries is much higher than that of the following countries: Italy (7.8%), the United States (7.2%) and Japan (4.5%).
In terms of global exports, Germany maintained its leading position, accounting for 22.2% of the world's total export value of 21.1 billion euros, but down from 23.7% in 2014. China’s share of exports rose from 12.8% to 15%. China's low export share is due to its huge domestic market that absorbs most of its products. However, the gap with Germany in terms of exports has narrowed in recent years (2011: 10.3%). Italy, the United States and Japan are still lagging behind, with little change in 2015, at 9.1%, 6% and 9% respectively.
The United States is Germany's largest destination for exporting machinery products. In the context of US industry returns and oil and gas resources utilization, it rose by 15.3% to 719 million euros. China is the second largest destination country, but exports fell by 19.3% to 653 million euros. And since 2008, China has given the United States the status of the largest importer of plastic machinery.
The output value of injection molding machinery declined slightly in 2013, but it increased by 9% in 2014. The annual growth in 2015 was even better, with an increase of 14.6% or 1.04 billion euros, and exports increased by 6.9% to 839 million euros. The output value of extrusion machinery increased by 9.4% to 1.1 billion euros, and the export value in 2015 was 768 million euros, an increase of 25.6%. The output value of blow molding machinery has not changed, at 437 million euros, but the growth of vacuum and other thermoplastic machinery was 18.6% or 270 million euros, while exports increased by 23% to 197 million euros.
Power Tools are hand-held, transportable electric tools in which motor is inseparable part of the machine. Examples of conventional electrically power tools are screwdrivers, drills, routers, sanders and a variety of saws, such as jigsaws, reciprocating saws and circular saws. Compared to hand tools, Power tools can help you to complete home repair and large-scale projects with speed, ease and safety.
