How to use wire rope clips

Lead: Wire rope rope cards are mainly used for the temporary connection of wire ropes and the fixation of the rear hand ropes when the wire rope is wound around the pulley block, and the fixation of the wind rope rope heads on the mast. It is a wider wire rope clamp used in lifting operations.

Other names: wire rope clamps, reels, clamps, wire clamps, wire rope rolling heads.

Commonly found on the market is the carbon steel casting process. National standards require that cast wire rope chucks can be used. However, with the development of modern industrialization, the cast steel rope clip head should be used cautiously in special occasions such as moisture, acidic alkali, and impact frequency due to some defects of the natural process (swell, crack, sand inclusion).

The use of wire rope clips:

First, the carbon steel casting wire rope clip head is often used for static bolting, rope tightening, such as power, communication lines, and tying.

Forged wire rope chucks are often used for hoisting and lifting applications such as various construction cranes, metallurgical mining equipment, oil field derricks, port railway loading and unloading, forestry machinery, power equipment, aviation and marine, land transportation, engineering rescue, salvage shipwrecks , Factory and mining enterprises lifting, lifting, pulling rigging.

Stainless steel wire rope clips are used in marine accessories, chemical plants, and radiation because of their resistance to corrosion and rust.

Second, the characteristics: with the strength of steel wire rope, safe to use, beautiful and smooth transition appearance, lifting load safety, can withstand the impact load, long service life.

The use of wire rope chuck tips:

(1) The size of the chuck should be suitable for the thickness of the wire rope. The inner distance of the U-shaped ring is larger than the diameter of the wire rope by 1~3mm. The net distance is too big to be tightly bound to the rope.

(2) When using, tighten the U-bolt until the wire rope is flattened by 1/3. Because the wire rope is deformed after being subjected to a force, the rope card is to be tightened a second time after the wire rope is subjected to force, so as to ensure the reliability of the joint. If it is necessary to check whether the rope card is slipping after the wire rope is under stress, an additional safety rope card can be used. The safety rope card is installed about 500mm away from the last rope card, and the rope head is released out of a safety bend and then clamped with the main rope so that if the clip slides, the safety bend will be straightened, so that it can be easily found and reinforced in time. .

(3) The spacing between the rope cards is generally about 6 to 7 times the diameter of the rope, and the rope cards should be arranged side by side. The U-shaped ring part should be stuck on one side of the rope head, and the pressure plate should be placed on one side of the main rope.

(4) The correct number and method of arrangement: The wire rope diameter is less than or equal to 18mm, the minimum number is 3;

Wire rope diameter 18mm~26mm, at least 4;

Wire rope diameter 26mm~36mm, at least 5;

Wire rope diameter 36mm~44mm, at least 6;

Wire rope diameter 44mm~60mm, at least 7;

After the installation of the wire rope chuck, the first and second loads should be checked for looseness. In general, nuts need to be tightened further.

The use of wire rope chuck note: can not be used for a long time, should be regularly checked, regularly scrapped, can not be used repeatedly.
