From January to July this year, the photovoltaic industry realized a production value of 12.83 billion yuan, an increase of 74.5% over the same period of the previous year.

From January to July, the added value of the photovoltaic industry increased by 70% compared with the same period last year. For the application of photovoltaic demonstration, Hefei put forward the ambitious goal of building the “First City of Chinese PV Applications”. Hefei City Economic and Information Commission revealed that as of now, Hefei has built a 144.08MW photovoltaic power plant, 65.6MW under construction, covering industrial plants, commercial buildings, school yards, large venues, fish ponds, urban and rural households and other fields. The application of rural photovoltaic power was launched in an all-round way; 28 family-type roof photovoltaic power stations in Badou Town, Feidong were put into operation on the grid, and a new model of “joint investment by enterprises and households, revenue sharing of power generation” was innovated; full use was made of resources such as mudflats, fish ponds, trunk canals, and agricultural facilities. A large number of projects such as 40MW of Zhuxiang Town in Changfeng County, 30MW of Baihu Farm in Qijiang County, and 10MW of Fengbao Agriculture in Feidong County are basically ready for construction.

The reporter was informed that Hefei will further improve the photovoltaic policy system, quickly implement a number of photovoltaic application projects, and focus on promoting the accelerated construction of the 100MW distributed photovoltaic power generation demonstration area in the High-tech Zone and the “100 million” project in the photovoltaic rural areas, and actively explore The commercial model of integrating rural photovoltaic applications, near-sales of electricity, solar power generation, and electric vehicle charging will strive to increase 150MW of photovoltaic power plants in 2014.

According to a person familiar with the city's Economic and Information Commission, the roof of this "Tesla style" solar charging station will be equipped with a photovoltaic panel that will convert solar energy into electricity. In the charging station, a plurality of charge replacement devices will be provided. For example, after the electric bus enters the charging and switching station, it can immediately replace the fully charged battery pack and immediately drive it away without delaying passengers' time. The replaced battery pack can be placed here to continue charging. At present, relevant departments are promoting this project and strive to use it as soon as possible in Hefei.
