Sherly Gunawan, graduate student of the Department of Product Design at Singapore LASALLE College of Art, has inspired the transformation of the butterfly into a fresh air purifier that uses natural vegetation to achieve a clean air purification environment.
Considering the fact that indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air, GreenAir is recommended to you. It is an indoor air purifier that cleans the air through indoor plant cultivation. Research shows that some plants are natural high-efficiency air purifiers. GreenAir uses these plants. Their leaves and roots absorb waste from the air. Combined with activated carbon removes large amounts of indoor air pollutants.
GreenAir has a small fan inside to get energy from solar panels, which can contaminate contaminated air into the plant roots. Therefore, a large number of pollutants can be purified in a shorter period of time. GreenAir has a self-contained irrigation system that uses nylon threads as a root extension into the water. In this way, plants can draw water as needed. Flowerpots are made from biodegradable materials. After the plant grows, it can be converted directly into soil and become a nutrient for plant growth.
