(abbreviated as China Yizhong) that the company is a key nuclear power project in China - the development of Fuqing Nuclear Power Station. The Fuqing Unit 1 nuclear reactor pressure vessel successfully passed the hydrostatic test recently.
This is one month after the successful development of the Hongyanhe project, the heart of another million-kilowatt nuclear power plant in China—the nuclear reactor pressure vessel, which signifies that China has mastered the core technology of building a nuclear power plant with millions of kilowatts. And it has the ability to provide standardized, batch, and large-scale complete sets of equipment for domestic nuclear power construction. In nuclear power castings and forgings, nuclear reactor pressure vessels are key equipment and their service life must be permanent. The manufacturing cycle of each vessel must be strictly up to 34 months. The Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant, jointly funded by China National Nuclear Corporation and Huadian Fujian Power Generation Co., Ltd., is a key large-scale project implemented by the state in the context of the international financial crisis. It is currently the country's nuclear power unit with the highest level of autonomy and localization. The first phase of the project will involve the construction of two million-kilowatt units, which are scheduled to be completed in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
